People
Same people. Worse behaviour.
Damage Dept makes games for groups: flatmates, old friends, new partners meeting the old friends, colleagues who should know better. The games are short on rules and long on things you cannot unsay.

What we think about people
The game is the excuse
Cards and screens are props. What you remember afterwards is what someone said, the pause that followed, and who laughed first.
Everyone has a worse side
Most people keep it tidy. A good party game gives it somewhere safe to come out for an evening, among people who will bring it up for years.
Mischief, not malice
The joke is your mate’s terrible judgement, never who somebody is. We write games to wind up a room, not to single anyone out.
Good people play too
You do not need to be a menace to enjoy this. You only need to sit near one.
Bring your own people
There are no profiles, friend lists or leaderboards here. The only people that matter are the ones in the room with you. Gather them, pick a game, and see what happens.
